Get people riding with safe, attended bicycle parking!
Attended bicycle parking, also often known as a bike valet, is a powerful tool to get people riding. If your community is struggling with bike theft, event traffic, or just providing enough parking for bikes, a bike valet-style solution might be right for you.

Grant Program Overview
This granting program will support the development and implementation of attended bike parking programs across the province of British Columbia. The program seeks to provide resources and educational support to communities to facilitate successful implementation of attended bicycle parking services, with a focus on reducing bike theft and increasing cycling participation.
Grants ranging from $10K to $50K are to be distributed to municipalities, Indigenous governments, or community organizations interested in promoting cycling. The grant will fund grantees for the Summer 2024 term, however applicants will be asked to demonstrate that this funding will assist in attended bicycle parking program implementation for years to come.
Additionally, the program seeks to provide resources and educational support to communities to facilitate successful implementation of attended bicycle parking services, with a focus on reducing bike theft and increasing cycling participation. The grant may cover administrative costs for grantees, including promotional activities.
Grantees will be expected to participate in evaluation of the success of their attended bicycle parking programs, including helping with data collection on mode shift, trip generation, and environmental impact.
