ICBC’s data tool including Quick Statistics, crash maps, and open data sets have been updated with 2021 ICBC crash data and 2022 data (up to March).

You can find these tools on the statistics page of ICBC’s website.

Items to note:

• Crash and injury counts increased in 2021 compared to 2020 when the number of drivers on the roads decreased due to the pandemic.

• The number of insured vehicles increased significantly in 2021 throughout the province.

• Hybrid and electric vehicles have seen significant increase.
