Reporting Road Hazards
Road hazards pose a unique threat to people on bicycles.
Examples of hazards on roads, highway shoulders and paths include differential surface materials, unmarked construction trenches, gravel, sand, glass, metal debris and other garbage, animal carcasses, fallen trees, defective signs, damaged structures, potholes, longitudinal cracks, sunken drainage grates, overgrown vegetation, snow and ice, flooding and view obstructions.
If you encounter hazards during your ride, please report them to the authorities listed below as soon as possible.
