For the first time, the 2026 AT Summit will bring Western Canada’s leading active transportation advocates and practitioners to Victoria.
Organized by the BC Cycling Coalition, with support from local hosts Capital Bike and partners, this year’s Summit will feature over 80 speakers in 30 sessions over three days, leading discussions and knowledge-sharing focused on advancing active transportation priorities and strategies in B.C., through learning, community-building, celebration, and action.

Six half-day, interactive sessions facilitated by subject matter experts—three in the morning (9am-12pm), and three in the afternoon (1-4pm). Confirmed workshops for the 2026 AT Summit:
B.C. Active Transportation Design Guide Updates, led by the Ministry of Transportation and Transit and Urban Systems
BC’s Evolving Transportation Landscape: Regulating New and Emerging Modes of Transportation Under the Motor Vehicle Act, led by the Ministry of Transportation and Transit
SNAP into Action: Active Travel Programming for School Neighbourhoods, led by TransLink and featuring Capital Bike, Green Communities Canada, HUB Cycling, and the Society for Children and Youth of B.C.
Mode Shift Starts at the Rack: Reimagining Micromobility Parking as a Behaviour Change Tool, led by movmi and featuring Urban Racks
