Bike Sense 7th Edition officially launches today in support of Go By Bike Week!
Today not only marks the official start of GoByBike Week, but it also is the official launch of the BC Cycling Coalitions distribution of our 7th edition of Bike Sense - both print and online!
BCCC has been busy sending out a limited amount of hard copies of Bike Sense to bike shops, supporters and sponsors all across the province, and also to help support GoByBike Week celebration stations from September 27 – October 10.
We are very proud of Bike Sense, which was written by representatives of cycling advocacy organizations, cycling skills instructors and education providers, and a wide range of transportation planners and related subject matter experts. As with past editions, stakeholder contributions also informed the scope and tone of Bike Sense, and reflect some of the cultural changes occurring in personal mobility, whether for fitness, recreation, sport, transportation, or utility.
We hope you have a safe riding week, and along with GBBBC encourages British Columbians to ride their bikes as much as possible during the coming days. Whether it’s to work, to school, for fun, for exercise, to stretch your legs between Zoom meetings, to clear your mind … no matter the reason, just ride your bike!
