For neighbours. For neighbourhoods. For the BC we're building together.

Donate Now!

BC is at a crossroads. Every day, more people are choosing to walk and bike,* and not just because it’s the most affordable or green way of getting around, but because it’s fun.

So why has the provincial government suspended their Active Transportation Infrastructure grants? Now more than any time in the last decade, we need to chase our vision for a province where cycling is safe, accessible, and joyful for everyone.

Active transportation is the simplest way to solve some of BC’s biggest challenges: it saves money, protects the environment, and strengthens communities.

Your donation to Rights of Way, our 2025 fall fundraising campaign, helps us advocate for better infrastructure, safer streets, and stronger active transportation policies across BC.

Thank you for your support!

For Neighbours

Transportation is one of the biggest household costs in BC. Walking, biking, and taking transit dramatically reduce daily expenses, freeing up money for other things we love. We’re working to ensure active transportation isn’t just an option for the few, but a right for everyone — no matter where you live or how much you earn.

Your donation helps us:

  • Advocate for more funding for safe cycling and walking infrastructure.

  • Push for policies that make active transportation the affordable choice.

  • Support communities building local, low-cost mobility programs.

For Neighbourhoods

When we move through our communities, we connect: With our neighbours, our environment, and our own bodies. Communities with networks of sidewalks and bike lanes are healthier, more economically robust, and its residents are less lonely.

Your donation helps:

  • Build the social movement for safer, people-first streets.

  • Support local cycling education and advocacy groups across BC.

  • Create public spaces that bring people together.

For the BC We’re Building Together

Transportation is BC’s largest source of greenhouse gas emissions — but it’s also our biggest opportunity for change. Every commute, no matter how short, by bike or on foot reduces pollution, cuts traffic, and brings us closer to our climate goals.

Your donation helps:

  • Hold governments accountable for sustainable transportation targets.

  • Inspire and educate people to choose active travel.

  • Speed the creation of cleaner, greener streets.

Thank You!

Your support helps us build a better BC.
