Join the BCCC

The British Columbia Cycling Coalition (BCCC) is a member-based charitable society, composed of individuals and organizations interested in active transportation in B.C., with an emphasis on cycling.

We endorse and promote one basic principle: that the bicycle and other means of active transportation are legitimate vehicles, and are integral parts of British Columbia's transportation system.

You can support our mission by becoming a member of the BCCC:

Memberships Support Our Work

Members help amplify our voice, supporting our efforts to work with communities and governments across B.C. to provide public information and educational resources, tools, and encouragement programs supporting active transportation—such as:

  • The Active Transportation Summit, our annual conference for BCCC members and AT advocates, educators, practitioners and researchers;

  • BC Bike Valet Grants, an annual program funded by the Province of British Columbia and administered by the BCCC;

  • Bike Sense, our educational publication on cycling and active transportation safety, cycling skills, and the laws governing road users in B.C.;

  • The Bike Sense Podcast, featuring conversations with active transportation leaders from across the province; and

  • Explore BC, our work with provincial advocacy partners, Indigenous partners, B.C.'s destination marketing sector, and government leaders to advance a vision for cycle tourism in B.C.
